BANG BANG Into the Room.

It seems like I'm announcing this 'news' like it's a big deal to the world, but I got a fringe. A lot of people don't know that I had a fringe from when I was a toddler up until the age of about 9- and it was horrific. Back then, it was literally a line of hair that began at the about the top of my head, and worked all its way over my eyes. I'm not going to explain the regretted phase of when I thought I was a 'goth' with a side fringe over one eye...

In every single blog post now, I use the word "autumnal" but I think that bangs are great for the autumn (and covering up acne- it's great for both uses). My fringe is quite thin as I only got a small fraction of my hair added to it, but it's something different and something quite rare for young people in this day and age.

Autumnal Finds

As I was recently culling through boxes among boxes of certainly not matching and unnecessary clutter, I came across some autumnal decorative pieces that I bought and forgot about. I've been really into vintage style lately and will definitely be looking into getting more items similar to which you're about to see (and consequently repeating the process of removing again). I can't wait to bring a warm feel to my wardrobe as autumn is now floating over us and shorts with tee-shirts will be not be appropriate for much longer. There's also pumpkin spice lattes and dark chocolate to look forward to- a LOT of it!

Feel Good Music.

Mondays can be described using more than many words, but is most commonly known as one very simple yet harsh adjective: "crap". Waving goodbye to the beautiful weekend is hard, we all the feel the pain of wondering how possibly has Friday night flown by so fast. Getting up on the first day of a new week is difficult without something to brighten our day at the first blink.

I simply put my headphones on, and listen to the same series of songs on repeat that are my feel good songs. I play them and a creative seed is planted in head and bursts into energy.

Welcome to 'Sixteen O Six'

First off, I want to give you a warm welcome to my blog, titled 'Sixteen O Six'. I've been slowly drifting back into the thought of blogging, and have been compelled to do so for quite a long time now, but I wanted to make it happen and procrastinate no longer.

Obviously, the basics are my name and such, so hello, bonjour, hallå, hola... (and the list goes on and on.) I'm Rachel. I've been thirteen as of 16/06- hence my blog name. I switch between hobbies, but my main enjoyments include all things artsy (artsy: also meaning the Tumblr theme). I also like to see new scenery, and capture moments through the lens of my phone, and subsequently, posting them on a site that I'm unwittingly proud to call my very own blog!

I'll let you get to know me gradually throughout my posts so I'm going to leave you here. All social media is linked about on here so you can talk to me over there if you wish! I never know how to end posts without a virtual awkward silence, so I'm just simply going to say "bye."
