Chibi Cuteness | Art

As I've told you, I like to draw and am a huge artsy-fartsy that loves a good creative mess! In art class, last week, we were told to draw a 'mini me' and my best friend introduced me to my long lost, unbiological twin of Chibi. Obviously I was away with the unicorns because of this, and because it's such a big deal and I tried to recreate her myself.
For this I used Copic Markers.

Burgundy and Checks

As I've countlessly, and annoyingly, mention the word "autumnal" in my recent posts, this one is going to be full of red leaves and pumpkins, and in season styles like checks and mauve/ magenta tones.
Yesterday, I went on a long awaited spree that had because compulsory for my wardrobe. I shopped at numerous places like New Look and more to get a cosier feel to my style (PS, I'm not fashion forward at all so this is awkward and crunchy to write).

The first thing that I picked up was a  sleek, loose jacket (for £29 from New Look) paired with leggings with a 'hound's tooth' checked pattern (£9.99, New Look) and a knitted burgundy jumper with bobbled detailing (£12.99, also from New Look).

Again from New Look, I purchased a long top/ casual dress with red checks paired with a pair of tights and the previously mentioned jacket. This adds a casual vibe to what I see as quite a girly look.

From Next, I continued with a casual vibe by buying an oversized open shirt with a red/ blue checked pattern and detailing on the collar.
I wore this with the burgundy top mentioned before.

I also excitedly got a Christmas dressing gown (...or house coat if you actually use that phrase...). It's seriously the comfiest things ever and I swear by it to keep me warm in the winter.
This was a really awkward post to write as I'm a total 'cloth head' when it comes to fashion (I actually am finishing it a week later due to procrastination XD)! I'm just about to see Hairspray the Musical and wearing one of these outfits^. Have a wonderful evening loves!

BANG BANG Into the Room.

It seems like I'm announcing this 'news' like it's a big deal to the world, but I got a fringe. A lot of people don't know that I had a fringe from when I was a toddler up until the age of about 9- and it was horrific. Back then, it was literally a line of hair that began at the about the top of my head, and worked all its way over my eyes. I'm not going to explain the regretted phase of when I thought I was a 'goth' with a side fringe over one eye...

In every single blog post now, I use the word "autumnal" but I think that bangs are great for the autumn (and covering up acne- it's great for both uses). My fringe is quite thin as I only got a small fraction of my hair added to it, but it's something different and something quite rare for young people in this day and age.
